A man has been charged with murder in connection with an Albany homicide last month.

Dario Lewis, 32, is accused of shooting Elijah Thompson, 32, in the chest.

It happened in the area of Judson Street and First Street on Nov. 11 at around 3 a.m., police said. 

Thompson was later pronounced dead.

Lewis was arrested after an investigation. He was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Albany County Criminal Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
