Police: North Greenbush child luring report was false alarm

North Greenbush police say they have found the man they were looking for in a suspected child luring, and there was no ill intent on his part.
As NewsChannel 13 reported Wednesday, North Greenbush police started investigating after reports of a man acting suspiciously towards children.
Police now say what appeared to a witness as an attempt to grab a child wasn’t really what they were seeing.
Police say the man was soliciting for a solar company without a permit.
The man was cited and is due back in court at a later date.
