Center for Law and Justice names new leader

Ta-Sean Murdock will take over leadership of the Center for Law and Justice, after the passing of founder Dr. Alice Green last week, the organization announced on Tuesday.  Murdock has served as director of operations for the center. He said he is committed to continue the critical work of the organization.

Murdock has served as director of operations for the center. He said he is committed to continue the critical work of the organization.

“It is an immense honor to carry forward the legacy of Dr. Alice Green, a woman who has profoundly shaped the fight for justice and equity in our community,” he said in a statement. “While her passing is a significant loss, the values she instilled in all of us will continue to guide the work of the Center for Law and Justice. I am dedicated to upholding her vision and ensuring that our efforts to create a just society remain as strong as ever.” 

The center will continue to prioritize the principles of justice, equity and community empowerment, they said.

The board of directors will announce Green’s successor at a later date.
