A task force met at Albany City Hall Tuesday to brainstorm ideas on how to prevent gun violence.
A task force met at Albany City Hall Tuesday to brainstorm ideas on how to prevent gun violence.
It’s all about teaching people at a young age that gun violence is the wrong answer, according to the Albany Violence Prevention Task Force.
One of the members, Eric Johnson, said they need to tackle three things in a child’s life: strengthening the home, school and community. It creates a much more prosperous generation, he said.
There was a string of shootings last week. Some left teens and young adults killed or hurt by a gunshot wound.
