Five family members of the people killed in the horrific 2018 Schoharie limo crash came to court Wednesday, ready to speak and share their unrelenting grief.

The family members bravely spoke about their loss, as the shocking news came out of court that the plea deal for limo company operator Nauman Hussain was rejected by a judge.

Among them was Sheila McGarvey, who spoke about her son Shane, and his new wife Erin. Both were killed.

Jery Bursese talked about losing her stepdaughter Savannah that day.

Another speaker was Jill Richardson-Perez – the mother of Matthew Coons. She asked Hussain to face her directly as she spoke.
