Teen at Tech Valley High accused of threatening the school

A 14-year-old student at Tech Valley High School is accused of making threats to harm people at the school.
Catskill Police received a call from the principal on March 23 about reports she received from students and faculty regarding alarming message sent over the social media app Snapchat indicating a possible threat to the school.
The investigation resulted in a teen being charged with a count of a making a threat of mass harm.
Police determined that the teen did not have access to any weapons.
The teen is due in Family Court at a later date.
