A 16-year-old was sentenced Friday to two to six years behind bars, for causing a crash that killed a 13-year-old riding in the same car.

NewsChannel 13 first brought you this story in April, when 13-year-old Tea’Shawn Walker was killed.

Police say the 16-year-old driver was behind the wheel of a stolen car, and tried to get away from police during a chase. That’s when they crashed near Northern Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.

The 16-year-old pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in August.

The teen’s name is not being released because of their age.
