Three teens charged with assault after Cohoes fight
Three teens facing assault charges after fight at Cohoes High School.
Three teens are charged with misdemeanor assault after a fight Friday at Cohoes High School.
The fight broke out around 7:45 a.m. in the cafeteria, before classes. Around six or seven students were involved, Cohoes Police Chief Todd Waldin said.
The victims were checked out.
“Thankfully, there was nobody seriously hurt. That’s the good news. The bad news is we hate to see these things take place at all,” he said.
Three teens ages 14 and 16 will be prosecuted through the Albany County Probation Department, according to Waldin. The students will also be disciplined by the school.
There was no word on what started the fight.
