Tickets go on sale for arena football’s Capital Region return

Tickets to see the Albany Firebirds are on sale right now.
The team marks a return for professional football in Albany, after the Albany Empire was kicked out of the National Arena League amid clouds of controversy over the team’s new owner, Antonio Brown, and nonpayment.
Team officials announced back in October that the Albany Firebirds will be joining the new Arena Football League.
That’s the same name of the team that called the Capital Region home in the 1990s.
The team’s season kicks off April 27 at MVP Arena.
