A guilty verdict has been handed down to a Pittsfield man, accused of threatening police with a crossbow during a standoff.

In March, Timothy Tatro pointed the weapon at police after officers tried to serve him with a restraining order at a Cheshire Trailer Park.

Tatro refused to leave the premises, and was finally taken into custody after a six-hour standoff. He’ll serve five years in jail on charges that include assault with a dangerous weapon.
