Tractor-trailer rolls over in Rensselaer

The driver was not injured after a tractor-trailer rolled over Friday morning in Rensselaer.

A truck carrying a roll-off trash receptacle rolled over on the entrance ramp from Route 9J onto Columbia Street (Route 9 and Route 20) westbound, Rensselaer Police said.

There was small amount of engine fluid leaked.

Cleanup continues at the site and the ramp should be reopened shortly, according to police.

The cause of the rollover is not known. The driver said the load shifted mid-turn.
