The town is concerned about how drivers would access the restaurant, reported the Times Union.
The restaurant would be located in Latham Farms, on Troy-Schenectady Road.
The proposal won’t move forward until Chick-fil-A figures out a way to address traffic concerns, the town said.
Chick-fil-A is working on a solution, they said.
This would be the third stand-alone Chick-fil-A in the Capital Region following restaurant openings in North Greenbush and Clifton Park.
There’s also a Chick-fil-A past the security gate at Albany International Airport.
