Troy contractor arraigned on grand larceny
Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced on Friday that James McNall, 52, of Troy, was arraigned on an indictment in Rensselaer County Court.
McNall was charged with grand larceny and scheme to defraud.
He is accused of contracting home improvements, accepting deposits, and not completing the work.
Donnelly said McNall is accused of defrauding families in East Greenbush and Brunswick.
She said “he took their money and did not do the work he was paid to do.”
Donnelly says to reach out to the New York State Police Financial Crime Unit if you or anyone you know has been involved in a situation like this.
