Troy Fire Department is celebrating the promotion of the city’s new fire chief.

Assistant Chief Richard Cellucci was promoted to chief.

The celebration took place at the Hedley Building on Wednesday morning.

Salucci replaces Eric McMahon, who retired as chief last month. He had been with the department for more than 30 years.
