Vacant Troy home catches fire
A Troy home was damaged in a fire. The fire broke out at a two and a half story home on Ida Street.
A home in Troy has some damage after a fire.
The fire broke out at a two and a half story home on Ida Street.
The home is vacant and the fire was contained to one room on the third floor, according to Fire Chief Rich Sellucci. A few other rooms have heat damage.
Crews were able to put the fire out quickly and nobody was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but because it’s a vacant home, the fire raises some suspicion, Sellucci said.
