A Troy man has been acquitted of murder and assault charges in a shooting last September in Lansingburgh.

Gustavo Santana had been accused of shooting Jayden West and his sister Nakeia West. Jayden West died of his injuries.

After a trial that lasted just over a week, a jury convicted Santana only on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon.
