Troy man arrested in connection to several suspicious fires

A Troy man has been charged for allegedly starting multiple fires over the past few weeks.

George Leque, 44, was arrested on Monday night, the Troy Police Department said.

Police were able to identify Leque with surveillance video given to them by Troy community members, according to officials.

Leque has received multiple charges, including arson and burglary. He was arraigned and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail.
