Man, 40, recovering after being shot in Troy
Troy Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting.
Officers responded to the area of 5th Avenue and Middleburgh Street for a report of shots fired. The victim was treated on scene and then he was transported to the hospital, police said.
A 40-year-old man is recovering after being shot on Wednesday night in Troy.
Police responded to a reported shooting at around 9:30 p.m. Officers found the victim in the area of 5th Avenue and Rensselaer Street. They believe the incident occurred on Middleburgh Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
The incident appears to be the result of a dispute between the victim and a single suspect, police said.
