Troy Police are investigating an assault in an alleyway on Monday afternoon.

It happened near 2^nd Street and Harrison Street, according to police. 

The male victim said another man assaulted him and then ran away heading south on Second Street, Troy Police said.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing shorts and a gray sweatshirt.

Two schools were placed on a precautionary lockout, which prevented any unauthorized people from getting in.
