Truck hits Glenville bridge…… Again

The Glenville bridge hits just keep coming in.

A third truck has now hit the bridge in just two weeks.

To say this is an ongoing issue is bridge-ing to the choir.

A truck hit the bridge Tuesday afternoon – but did make it all the way under, so the road did not have to close, police said.
The box portion of the truck has significant damage.

The driver told police he did not know the actual height of his vehicle and said he was just following Google maps.

The driver was charged with exceeding clearance and driving with a suspended New York State license, as well as a violation of Glenville town code, for failing to obey overhead clearance.
