Two Capital Region residents killed in Central NY fire
Two people from the Capital Region were killed in an Oneida County fire.
The fire happened at a hunting camp early Saturday morning.
The fire likely started from a woodstove heating the cabin, the sheriff’s office said.
Joseph Funk, 64, from Gansevoort and Thomas Dingmon, 78, of Middle Grove died.
Fort Edward resident Michael S. Hastings, 63, was flown to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with burn injuries. Bruce Siergiey, 64, of Queensbury, was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
