Two men accused of killing former Guilderland woman to be tried separately

The two men accused of killing a former Guilderland womanin Arizona will be tried separately next year.

Cavett Richards and William DalCerro are facing charges for their alleged involvement in the death of 35-year-old Shayna Feinman, who was last seen in March 2024. Her body has not been found. 

A hearing was held virtually in Yavapai County Court on Monday to set the schedule for the upcoming trials.

Richards was Feinman’s boyfriend, and DalCerro owned the property where the couple had been staying. Both Richards and DalCerro are facing charges of second-degree murder, conspiracy and concealing a dead body.

While looking into the killing, sheriff’s investigators found other alleged crimes committed by Richards and DalCerro including weapons offenses, tampering with evidence, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Prosecutors insisted that DelCerro’s trial on these crimes be scheduled first. Those trials will take place the week of Feb. 10. DalCerro’s murder trial is scheduled to start March 25.

Richards murder trial was scheduled for April 15. 

Feinman, a graduate of Guilderland High School, was reported missing by a neighbor after Feinman failed to pick up her dog. The neighbor located Feinman’s vehicle with her belongings to include her wallet and ID not far from the property Feinman and her boyfriend were staying.
