Two men plead guilty in Saratoga smash-and-grab robbery

Two men plead guilty in Saratoga smash-and-grab robbery of expensive merchandise.

Two people from Washington, D.C. admitted on Monday to a smash-and-grab robbery of a Saratoga Springs store last summer.

Jowan A. Plummer, 24, and Mustafa Lewis-Hampton, 22, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court to burglary charges. Both men smashed the front window of Lola Saratoga on Broadway and stole thousands of dollars worth of luxury handbags.

Police found the two suspects in a Clifton Park neighborhood and arrested them.

They are expected to receive 2 to 6 years in state prison when sentenced on April 28.

Third defendant, Christopher Tyler, is expected in court later this week.

Lola’s Guilderland location was burglarized in July.

Guilderland Police said that they are wrapping up this investigation and hope to share an update in the next few weeks.
