Albany Police investigating shootings of two teens that happened on Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday evening.

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg and a 13-year-old’s leg was grazed by a bullet Tuesday around 6:25 p.m. in the area of Myrtle Ave. and Grand St., according to Albany Police.

The teens were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

This shooting happens on the heels of three other shooting incidents in Albany, one that took the life of 21-year-old Quadair Hoffler who was shot in the head on Yates St. in the early morning hours on Monday.

The other two incidents involve a 19-year-old who was shot in the buttocks and the window of two businesses shot up on Madison Ave. shortly before noon on Monday. Police say those two incidents are related.

NewsChannel 13’s Dan Levy spoke with a worker in the area of these shooting incidents who said the recent violence is unnerving.
