The University at Albany Athletics Department is asking its Great Dane family to come together to help some rescued Great Danes.
Twenty-two dogs, all Great Danes, were rescued from a home in Dutchess County after their owner died this month.
The dogs were said to be undernourished and confined to a house in extremely poor condition.
Now they’re being taken care of by local animal agencies, including the Dutchess County SPCA.
The organizations are currently taking donations.
