Some of the strongest athletes in the state are in Albany this weekend for two days of powerlifting.
More than 200 competitors are taking part in the 2025 USA Powerlifting State Championships at the Capital Center.
The competition is divided into four sessions, a morning and afternoon session on Saturday and Sunday.
The powerlifters are separated by gender, age, and weight class.
Awards are given to the top five powerlifters in each division.
