The USS Slater in Albany held a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday. The ship is the last destroyer escort afloat in America.
The event was held to remember the 18 million veterans still living today.
At the ceremony, the Pinch Hitters, a chorus, sang the national anthem.
One of the speakers talked about the history of the holiday.
Veterans who served in the Navy, Army and Air Force were present.
All veterans were able to tour the Slater for free on Friday.
