Vermont man accused of threatening to cut peoples’ heads off with axe

A person living in Vermont is facing aggravated assault and criminal threatening charges after allegedly threatening campers with an axe, and threatening to cut off their heads.
Vermont State Police arrested Ralph Schneider, 61, of Mendon.
Mendon was armed with an axe, police said.
He also allegedly hit a car with an axe in Killington, Vermont on Saturday.
Mendon is now being held in jail.
