A Bennington County man is in jail after a standoff.

Police arrested Devin Hanson, 40, from Readsboro, they said.

He’s charged with violating a restraining order and threatening his neighbor. He’s also charged with violating conditions of release after simple assault accusations in August.

When State Police arrived at Hanson home on Monday, Hanson went inside and wouldn’t come out.

Troopers left the scene, got a search warrant, and went back and arrested Hanson on Tuesday night.
