Voters in one Berkshire County town have approved a proposal to build a new fire station.
The people in Williamstown passed the measure with an overwhelming majority, during a Tuesday night meeting, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle report.
The 22,000 square-foot-fire station would be located on Main Street.
The estimated $22.5 million project has been discussed since 2006.
