The shooting death of Kaylin Gillis has shocked the Capital Region – and people from here and across the country are expressing horror and sadness over what appears to be a senseless tragedy.
Kevin Monahan, allegedly fired two shots at the Ford Explorer that turned into his driveway, hitting and killing Gillis.
“The tragedy of this is that it was a group of young adults that were looking for a friend’s house,” said Jordan. “It’s not unique to just rural counties, but certainly a lot of the roads look the same. It’s dark and they got turned around…there’s no indication of any provocation. That is the tragedy of this intentional act. It’s saddening, it’s hard for the community.”
Jordan is not saying what he will ask the judge for on Wednesday regarding bail.
