Washington County man accused of firing gun, threatening to kill people
Police have arrested a Washington County man for allegedly firing a gun in a home and threatening to kill people.
Dustin T. St. Andrews, 31, of Putnam is accused of retrieving and discharging the long gun after getting into an argument with the victim around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
St. Andrews threatened to kill the two people at the residence as well as responding law enforcement, police said.
No one in the home was hurt.
St. Andrews left before troopers arrived but was later found in Ticonderoga with the help of the Ticonderoga Police Department, according to police.
St. Andrews was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. He is not allowed to possess any firearms due to a previous felony conviction.
St. Andrews was transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility pending arraignment. Police seized the weapon.
