A Watervliet couple is facing charges for illegally-owned guns.
Police responded to complaints of unlawful possession of a firearm at the Highland Club Apartments.
They found an illegally-owned .38 caliber handgun in the home of Frank Lipka, 45, and Cheraba Lipka, 44, investigators said.
The couple was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
They were arraigned and released with tickets to appear in court at a late date.
