For the sixth time this summer, mosquitoes infected with West Nile have been found in Pittsfield.
The risk level for the virus is now moving from low to moderate in more than half of the communities in Berkshire County, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
Two samples of mosquitoes tested positive, after they were collected.
One was at the Pittsfield Municipal Airport, the other at the Pittsfield Cemetery.
