Berkshire Bank donations helping Capital Region nonprofits

Several Capital Region nonprofits are getting a boost from Berkshire Bank.

The organizations receiving financial support in the Capital Region include Northern Rivers Family Services, Center for Disability Services, Capital District Gay & Lesbian Community Council, YMCA of the Capital District, and Warren, Washington Albany ARC.

The Berkshire Bank Foundation said it’s supporting 118 nonprofits in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The foundation has invested more than $400,000 in communities between January and March, it said.
