BOCES students sell coffee for a good cause
BOCES students sell coffee to raise money for different charities including the Schenectady Mission, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Mohawk Hudson Human Society and the American Heart Association.
Local high school students are celebrating their efforts to provide area charities with much-needed funding.
During the school year, Capital Region BOCES students on the Albany campus sold coffee and raised hundreds of dollars for different charities including Schenectady City Mission, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society and the American Heart Association.
The students are in the retail and office services program, which teaches students skills like customer service, communication and money management.
