Family to see New York Rangers play
Kelly's Angels arrange for Izzy Brinkerhoff to go to the New York Rangers. She lost her father, Trooper David Brinkerhoff, who was killed in the line of duty in 2006.
A Clifton Park resident who lost her father when she was just a baby is getting a trip to a Rangers game.
Izzy Brinkerhoff was just an infant when her father, Trooper David Brinkerhoff, was killed in the line of duty.
Izzy is a huge New York Rangers fan and even named her dog, Kreider, after the popular Rangers forward Chris Kreider.
She and her family went to Madison Square Garden Thursday to see the Rangers play the Minnesota Wild, courtesy of Kelly’s Angels.
The family will even have the opportunity to have a brief meet-and-greet and take some pictures with a couple players after the game.
Kelly’s Angels is an organization that brings joy to children who have lost a parent. It was started by NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland in honor of his wife, Kelly, who died of cancer.
