The baby girl was born at 5:08 a.m. Thursday morning.

It was a special Thursday morning for some Mohawk Ambulance workers.

Ryan, Brian and Wes delivered a baby!

The little girl was delivered at 5:08 a.m. in the back of Ambulance 41, according to Mohawk Ambulance. Albany Fire Department also helped, they said.

”I’m still in shock from the whole thing. I mean, we get, we get a mixture of many calls and so on. And this is just one of those calls where we can say we got to see the miracle of life. And I couldn’t ask for anything better,” said EMT Wesley Bessaw.

When EMS crews arrived on scene, they found a mother in labor on the third floor of the residence. EMS carried the mother down in a stretcher to the ambulance.

The mother gave birth on the road in the ambulance just before pulling into St. Peter’s Hospital.

Brian Williams Sr. was driving the ambulance at the time.

“So, actually arriving at, Saint Peter’s, I actually have the father, Ryan up front with, me and, we were trying to talk to mom, communicate with her to keep breathing. take, several, deep breaths as she was, pushing,” said Williams Sr.

One EMT and two paramedics in the back of that ambulance, helping a miracle happen on the road.

Congratulations to everyone!
