Flying Cloud Institute to hold free community event

A Berkshire County science center for children is holding a free hands-on community to celebrate its 40^th anniversary.

The Flying Cloud Institute in Pittsfield is holding an event on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hancock Shaker Village. It is open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade and their families.

This marks the fifth STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) Challenge Night led by FCI.

There will be refreshments and prizes.
