Hyde Collection to celebrate Black History Month through music
The Hyde Collection is celebrating Black History Month this Saturday, Feb. 24.
The Hyde Collection is celebrating Black History Month this Saturday.
They will be featuring music from the 1920s and 1930s.
The live performance is called “The Joint Is Jumpin’ Songs of the Harlem Renaissance.”
It’s happening in Glens Falls at the Hyde Collection from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 24. American Music Historian Michael Lasser will be sharing a story about the music. He will be joined by three musicians to help tell the story.
Tickets are $35 for general admission and $25 for Hyde members.
