Pittsfield community celebrates WWII veteran’s 100th birthday

A World War II veteran in Berkshire County turned 100 last week.
Don Seckler was born and raised in Pittsfield, and married his first wife Barbara before he went overseas to fight in the Pacific Theatre in World War Two.
More than eighty of his closest friends and fellow marines gathered Sunday to celebrate at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
