Queensbury ice cream shop gives back to college student employees

A local ice cream shop took time to celebrate its young employees.

Friday and Saturday were “college crew nights” at Sprinkles Ice Cream Shoppe in Queensbury.

Owners Gary and Lorraine Mikutel hold this event each year to salute the college students who work there all summer, and to help them earn more toward their college expenses as they prepare to head back to school.

Sprinkles matches the tips received by these employees on these two nights.
