A special honor for the hard work and dedication of a local law enforcement officer.

Retired Detective Sgt. Michael Greene was recognized by the United States Marshals Service for his tireless investigation that led to the location and apprehension of Anthony Ojeda.

Ojeda was one of the country’s top 15 most wanted fugitives.

All members of the fugitive task force were also recognized at the ceremony.

NewsChannel 13 was the only crew there when Ojeda was returned to the Capital Region to appear in federal court.
