A restaurant in Schenectady has raised thousands of dollars to help a dog that was abandoned and apparently abused.

The Nest 518 in Schenectady raised $2,700 by selling a special cocktail this weekend called “Lavender’s Kiss.”

NewsChannel 13 introduced you to Lavender last week. The dog was found last month with her ear cut off, and severe injuries to her face.

The money will now go to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands for lavender’s recovery, the Nest 518 said.
