Recalled applesauce pouches have been linked to more than 200 lead poisonings in 33 states including New York.

The growing number comes as the FDA investigates the source of the tainted cinnamon blamed for the contamination.

The illnesses are part of an outbreak tied to a recall from WanaBana, Weis and Schnucks applesauce pouches.

Exposure to lead can cause developmental delays in children.
