Showering at least once a day can help prevent acne, dandruff, and eczema flare-ups, according to Dermatologist Shilpi Khetarpal with the Cleveland Clinic.
If you’re someone who likes showering multiple times a day, she recommends using soap only one of those times to prevent your skin from drying out.
Other things that could irritate your skin are fragranced soap, overly hot water, and bath bombs.
However, Dr. Khetarpal recommended you shower once a day to wash off things that make us sick, she said.
