Exercise can improve your sleep

Exercise can help with sleep

A recent study found that people who exercise daily are 55% more likely to get a good night's sleep.

Moving your body every day is crucial – whether it be cardio, lifting weights or simply walking your dog.

A recent study found that active people are 55% more likely to be normal sleepers.

“In the short term, exercise boosts our wake drive a little bit. But in the long term, meaning over the course of the day, exercise is going to boost our sleep drive as well,” said Dr. Alice Roth, of the Cleveland Clinic.

The time of day you exercise doesn’t matter so much, but you want to avoid strenuous activity an hour before bed.
