A new study has found that 30 percent of adults have symptoms of insomnia.
The Cleveland Clinic study shows that what you eat and how often you exercise can play a big role in sleeping.
The Clinic sleep specialist says that eating a diet high in sugar, saturated fat, and processed carbohydrates can disrupt sleep while eating foods good for your overall health can help.
She suggests avoiding caffeine in the afternoon and hitting the gym regularly can help increase sleep quality and decrease the time it takes to fall asleep.
Above all stress is a huge factor. She recommends we avoid over thinking when we go to bed.
And always remember to talk to your healthcare provider if you have persistent problems with insomnia.
