A new training program in Vermont will soon come to healthcare centers across the state.
Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Lamoille Health Partners – among other federally qualified health centers – will receive nearly $500,000 to create a new primary care residency training program in Vermont.
The CEO of Lamoille Health says the money will be a tremendous help in supporting community health centers, and will hopefully be a training model for family medicine in other states.
