NewsChannel 13 team pulls CDTA bus to raise money for breast cancer research

It’s one of the biggest fundraising events in the Capital Region – the pink bus pull at CDTA.

The event is the highlight of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Teams come together to try to pull the 30,000-pound bus wrapped.

NewsChannel 13 took part in today’s event with a team led by morning co-anchor Chris Onorato.

The team may not have come in first, but gave it their all.

“We did our best. Next year I’m going to make sure I go to the gym several times before I go back to this event and I will be No. 1,” said Caitlin Irla, anchor and reporter.
